TRIPPER 2000

This high-protein blend of forage triticale and forage field peas is both a high-yielding spring forage and an excellent nurse crop for under-seeded alfalfa. Featuring low fiber levels, excellent palatability and protein levels of 15% to 20%, this fast-growing blend is ideal for use in dairy herd lactating rations. Growers report yields as high as 4 tons per acre.

Plant - as a nurse crop, 120 lbs./Acre; alone, 150 lbs./Acre

SPRINT

Sprint is a unique combination of the highest-producing pea and oat varieties, which are carefully selected to provide desirable standability, yield, protein content and nurse-crop characteristics. Pre-inoculated to ensure germination, harvest when the oats reach boot stage, 65 to 80 days after seeding.

Plant - as a nurse crop, 120 lbs./Acre; alone, 150 lbs./Acre

MILAGE

This versatile forage crop combines the best of selected milo and forage soybean varieties to create a complete forage crop for beef and dairy cattle alike. Milage delivers high protein-from 12 percent to as high as 18 percent. Yields are as high as 18 tons with 50% moisture. Other features include total digestible nutrient (TDN) levels of 60% to 65%, lower production costs than corn silage and high levels of palatability.

To plant Milage the soil temperature should be at least 60º F. It is usually planted between June 1 and July 10 in the Midwest.

Seeding Rate - 120 - 150 Lbs./Acre

FSG 300 PEARL MILLET (Pennisetum americanum) NEW
Bushy type hybrid with high yield potential
Widely adapted to many diverse geographic regions
No Prussic Acid concerns

FSG 300 is a bushy type hybrid pearl millet with high yield potential which is achieved very quickly being only 63 days to the boot stage. FSG 300 has a high level of tolerance to many pathogens and high humidity, but cannot tolerate standing surface water. FSG 300 can be grown in as little as 16 inches of water; however, greater tonnage will be produced with greater water availability.

FSG 300's bushy type plant stature means that the forage produced is virtually all leaves. This greater leaf mass gives FSG 300 high crude protein concentrations and high TDN values.

FSG 300 is usually planted between June 10 and July 10 in the Midwest when the soil temperature is at least 65º F.

Seeding Rate: 20-30 lbs./Acre
